The project is the first concept car for which Sasha Selipanov, Bugatti’s head of exterior design creative development, has been given full credit for his work, and he was clearly very happy to have been acknowledged. Selipanov, who graduated from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, has been working for the VW Group for over a decade — he started as an intern at VW’s California Design Center in Santa Monica the day Daniel Simon resigned. Why has he never been brought to the fore before?
