Phil Patton is the author of more than a dozen books. He writes on auto design for the New York Times and has been a contributing editor at Esquire, ID, and Departures magazines. He has taught at the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism and currently teaches in the Design Crit Program at New York's School of Visual Arts.
