Ford Bronco Concept by Art Center Grad Jonathan Fan

Jonathan Fan created his Ford Bronco project to cater to people that live in cities but enjoy weekend getaways in the great outdoors. The compact vehicle is, therefore, apt for urban environments but also suited for driving over various terrain.

“The Ford Bronco was replaced by the Explorer in the ’90s, and the new vehicle is now based on a car chassis,” says Fan. “This opens a window to have an off-road vehicle in Ford’s lineup.”

Fan says he wanted the design to have a rugged appearance, so he utilized fairly geometric shapes and accentuated them with bold details.

“The top of the concept can be removed, as with the Broncos of the past,” says Fan. “I wanted to show that the roof is a different part by the use of different colors.”
